Turkey Patties
Ingredients:
- 500g turkey mince
- 2 egg whites
- 1 stock cube
- 3 tbspn oat bran
Method:
Put the mince in a bowl and stire in the crushed stock cube and the oat bran.
Add egg whites and mix together until all the egg has been absorbed. If the mixture feels too sticky you will need to add a little more oat bran.
Mix in any spices.
Make the mixture into patties and grill on medium heat for 10 to 20 minutes, turning in between.
Turkey Burgers
Ingredients:
- turkey patties from above recipe
- 2 large mushrooms
- egg
- onion
- lettuce
- baby spinach
- tomato (sliced)
Method:
Heat large mushrooms for a couple of minutes in the oven. Fry the egg and onions. Put together the burger like you would any other burger using the mushrooms instead of a bread roll.
Add the egg, tomato, baby spinach leaves, lettuce or any other vegetable you like to add to burgers.
Enjoy!
If you don’t like mushrooms then why not have a couple of the turkey patties with some salad and a fried egg on the side.
